Dear Lord, we trust in Your infinite goodness. We praise Your justice and implore Your mercy upon all the holy souls who are suffering in Purgatory as they await their eternal Heavenly rest with You.

You long for all people to turn to You, and You give each of us the opportunity to grow to a deep relationship with You. Even when we reject You many times throughout our lives, You continue to exercise Your mercy towards us. And You allow us to come back into Your friendship.

We ask You to bring all the holy souls in Purgatory into eternal Heavenly rest with You, especially the souls of all who have returned to You in the last moments of their earthly lives!

Help us to grow in our desire for union with You. Help us to live our lives each day with an awareness of our final ends.

Lord, hear our prayers!
